This series, titled “Why Not Human,” delves into my reflections on the fusion of masculine and feminine energies and their profound impact on our perceptions of sexuality. I embarked on this journey by conducting interviews with several friends, seeking their insights into the concepts of masculinity and femininity. The questions I posed were thought-provoking, prompting them to consider scents, colors, and visual cues that evoke these characteristics. Each interview concluded with a profound question: “What does it mean to be human?” These responses were incredibly enlightening, guiding me to incorporate elements of femininity into masculine presenting figures and vice versa. My hope is that this series encourages you to contemplate the harmonious coexistence of the feminine and masculine energies, fostering a world where they can flourish and radiate beauty.
